Purpose: To develop an effective teaching
ministry and Christian educational opportunities for all members
Faith-In-Action...Keith
Oie-Council Laison
Purpose: Take a leadership role in developing,
maintaining and monitoring various ministries within and by the congregation
in areas of Caring... Hospital, Nursing Home, and Shut-In Visitation. Welcoming
and Engaging...New Members, Confirmation Recognition, Service Recognition,
Fellowship Ministries. Mission and Service...Hunger Ministries, Homeless
and Disaster Relief Ministries, other local and global concern
Family Life ...Jon
Briggs-Council Laison
Purpose: Plan, coordinate and conduct family
related activities, provide families with educational materials and opportunities
to nurture faith
Memorial/Special Gifts/Endowment
Funds
Glen Huntoonn-Council Laison
Purpose: Acknowledge all memorial, special
and endowment gifts by sending thank yous. Maintain the Book of Remembrance.
Determine appropriate use for undesignated funds, and manage the endowment
fund investments

Mosher-Council Laison
Purpose: Be a "listening post" and "support
system" for the Pastor and congregation. Evaluate the ministry of the congregation
and Pastor.
Stewardship...Bonnie
Archer-Council Laison
Purpose: Update the congregational member
ship roster annually and provide a directory, initiate a plan of receiving
commitments of time, treasures and abilities
Worship and Music...Brenda
Wodele-Council Laison
Purpose: Assist the Pastor in planning
and conducting the worship in accordance with the liturgy of the ELCA,
to arrange for lay lectors,
liturgists, special music, and service
schedules.
Youth
Ministry ...Jon Briggs-Council Laison
Purpose: Provide oversite and direction
for the youth ministry of the congregation. Assist the youth director in
carrying out that ministry
when necessary.
Property...Gary
Zander-Council Laison
Purpose: Be the focal point for all property
and furnishing needs of the ministries of the congregation. Supervise the
cleaning of church properties.
Altar Guild...Janet

Purpose: Communion and baptismal preparation
and changing of the altar paraments for the proper seasons.
